Fingerprinting for Background Checks

Many professions and organizations require documented criminal history checks of current and prospective employees or members based upon fingerprint submissions. The Zion Police Department provides inked fingerprints (no livescan) for individuals. Those requesting fingerprint services will be charged a $25.00 fee per visit. This fee will be reduced to $10.00 for Zion residents.

Fingerprinting will only be conducted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Individuals must provide their own fingerprint cards and display government-issued photo identification. No more than three fingerprint cards will be completed for any person per visit. Contact the police department to schedule an appointment.
